DHAKA, Sept 14, 2019 (BSS) – Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD)
today predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by
temporary gusty wind at many places over the country as of 9 am tomorrow.
“Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty
wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Sylhet and
Chattogram divisions and at a few places over Dhaka, Rajshahi, Khulna and
Barishal divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at some places over
the country”, said a BMD weather bulletin issued here this morning.
Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay, it
added.
However, the day temperature may rise by 1-2 degrees Celsius and night
temperature may rise slightly over the country.
The maximum temperature in the country was recorded 33.4 degrees Celsius
yesterday at Khulna in Khulna division and minimum temperature was 24.5
degrees Celsius today at Teknaf and Rangamati in Chattogram division.
The sun sets at 6.04 pm today and rises at 5.45 am tomorrow in the capital.
