AL united for ‘Boat’s win in Rangpur-3 by-poll

RANGPUR, Sept 12, 2019 (BSS) – Leaders of Awami League (AL) and its all
associate bodies at a special extended meeting have vowed to work unitedly
for making symbol ‘Boat’ winner in the by-poll of Rangpur-3 parliamentary
constituency.

Leaders of the district and city units of AL, Swechchhasebak League
(SSL), Jubo league, Bangladesh Chatra League (BCL), Krishak League, Sramik
League, Mohila AL, Jubo Mohila AL, Tanti League, Sheikh Rasel Jatiya Shishu
Kishore Parishad (SRJSKP)and other associate bodies attended the meeting held
at district AL office on Wednesday night.

Acting President of district AL Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed presided over the
meeting also participated by hundreds of leaders and workers of the district,
city and ward units of AL and its associate bodies from all over Rangpur-3
parliamentary constituency.

AL-nominated candidate and General Secretary of district AL Advocate
Rezaul Karim Razu, its Office Secretary Tauhidur Rahman Tutul, city AL
President Shafiur Rahman Shafi, President of district SSL Sirajul Islam
Pramanik, Joint Convener of district Jubo League Kamruzzaman Shahin,
President of district BCL Mehede Hasan Rony, President of Tanti League
Zakaria Shiplu, Chief Coordinator of Rangpur divisional unit of SRJSKP Saiful
Islam Sweet, among others, addressed.

In the meeting, leaders of AL and its associate bodies thanked Prime
Minister Sheikh Hasina for nominating popular, dedicated and tested AL leader
Advocate Rezaul Karim Razu as candidate for Rangpur-3 by-poll slated for
October 5 next.

They forwarded suggestions for conducting electioneering in Rangpur-3
parliamentary seat in a coordinated way to reach messages of development done
by the AL-government during the past ten years in Rangpur and around the
country.

They expressed firm commitment to make the ‘Boat’ winner in the by-poll
of Rangpur-3 seat and gift the parliamentary constituency to Prime Minister
and AL President Sheikh Hasina after a long time for more development of the
people of Rangpur.

Expressing deep gratitude to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for nominating
him AL-candidate in Rangpur-3 by-poll, Advocate Rezaul Karim Razu reiterated
his commitment to dedicate himself for development of Rangpur if elected in
the by-election.

Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed thanked local leaders, workers and activists of AL
and its associate bodies for the solidarity, unity and commitment they showed
in the meeting and urged them to work altogether to make the symbol ‘Boat’
winner in the by-poll in Rangpur-3 seat
