Construction of second Padma Bridge under process: Quader
SANGSAD BHABAN, Sept 9, 2019 (BSS) – Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today informed the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) that construction of the second Padma Bridge at Paturia-Daulatdia point is under process.
“Construction work of the second Padma Bridge at Paturia-Daulatdia point will begin soon after completion of the Padma Bridge at Mawa-Jazira point,” he said while replying to a supplementary question made by a treasury bench lawmaker Khudeza Nasrin Akhter in the House here.
The minister, however, said the overall 73 percent work of the Padma Bridge has been completed.
