KHULNA, Aug 25, 2019 (BSS) – A total of 2,893 dengue patients, who were admitted to different hospitals in Khulna region since January till August 24, have returned home after recovery.
A total of 3,572 patients were admitted to the hospitals after being infected with the mosquito-borne disease so far, an official release of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Khulna Division said here today.
However, nine people died from the disease till now in Khulna division.
A total of 551 patients are currently undergoing treatment at different hospitals and clinics in the division.
A total of 132 new dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals in the last 24 hours across the division, 128 dengue patients were referred to hospitals in the capital.
