RAJSHAHI, Aug 22, 2019 (BSS)- In an anti-crime drive, members of Rapid
Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged drug-peddler with 5.2 kilograms
(Kg) of heroin here this afternoon.
RAB sources said the arrested person was identified as Nazibur Rahman, 45,
son of Nur Muhammad of Kodalkati village under Chapainawabganj district.
On a tip-off, a team of RAB conducted a raid at Sarnagpur village under
Godagari Upazila and arrested the person with huge contraband items worth
around Taka 5.02 crore around 12.45 noon.
A case has been recorded with Godagari Police Station and the arrested
person with the seized goods was handed over to police.
