DHAKA, Aug 21, 2019 (BSS) – Liberation War Affaiars Minister AKM Mozammel
Haque today said the anti-liberation forces wanted to bury the spirit of the
War of Liberation through assassinating Father of the Nation Bangabandhu
Sheikh Mujibur Rahman along with his family members .
These evil forces wanted to kill Sheikh Hasina and other Awami League
leaders on 21 August in 2004 to eliminate the leadership of Bangladesh Awami
League, he added.
The trial of the August 21 grenade attack case is underway said all
judgments will be completed in time, the minister said speaking as chief
guest at a discussion meeting and dua mahfil organized by Bangladesh
Sangbadik Odhikar Forum at National Press Club.
Mozammel urged the journalists to remain alert about all conspiracies of
the anti-liberation forces .
President of Bangladesh Sangbadik Odhikar Forum Azizul Islam Bhuiyan
presided over the meeting.
Among others, President of Jatio Mohila League Begum Shamsun Nahar
Bhuiyan , President of National Press Club Md. Saiful Alam and General
Secretary Farida Yeasmin spoke at the meeting.
