Nasrul for working sincerely to meet people’s needs

DHAKA, Aug 19, 2019 (BSS)- State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid today asked the officials and employees of the ministry to ensure improved customer services and sort out their complaints to meet the demands of the people.

“Provide better services to customers and reach to them with their desired services. Try to solve their complaints with patient hearings,” he said this, while addressing a discussion and doa mahfil on the occasion of the 44th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at the Bydut Bhaban.

Sports and Cultural Parisad organized the discussion and doa mahfil, where Nasrul said within 10 months of the country’s independence Bangabandhu had framed the constitution for an independent nation to administer the country.

(Bangabandhu) emphasized on developing human resources by formulating a time-befitting education policy, he said.

Nasrul also laid stress on agriculture and infrastructure development in the first five year plan,” he said.

The state minister said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina declared her vision to make the country a middle income nation by 2021, achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030, earn the status of a developed country by 2041 and build a safe delta by 2100.

“Surely Bangladesh will reach to its desired goal very quickly,” Nasrul added.

Among others, power division secretary Dr Ahmed Kaikaus and chairman of Bangladesh Power Development Board Engineer Khaled Mahmood spoke.
