DHAKA, May 15, 2018 (BSS) – LGRD and Cooperatives Minister Khandker Mosharraf today said the Milk Vita’s milk production programme would be expanded across the country through modernization of its activities.
“Milk Vita’s activities would be expanded countrywide for more milk production by modernizing its activities,” he said this while presiding a meeting on setting up a Milk Vita factory in Faridpur.
The minister said, “We have to increase milk producing capacity to mitigate the demand gradually across the country. We have to give incentives to farmers through cooperatives in the areas where milk production is possible.”
Rural development and cooperatives division secretary SM Golam Faruque, Milk Vita chairman Sheikh Nadir Hossain Lipu, Milk Vita managing director M Atahar Ali and officials concerned were present in the meeting.
