Railways Minister visited fire affected area in Panchagarh

Panchagarh, August 11, 2019 (BSS) – Railways Minister Md Nurul Islam here
today visited the fire-affected area at Majprodhanpara village in Sonaher
union under Debiganj upazila.

The minister also distributed one sari, one lungi, one blanket, children
dresses and Taka 1,000 among each of 16 fire-affected families.

The minister said the government has given adequate allocation in all the
upazilas and districts across the country for any kind of natural disaster to
mitigate people’s suffering.

It is mentionable that 50 houses belong to 16 families were gutted on last
Wednesday.

Earlier, the fire affected each family got two bundles CI sheet, Taka
6,000, five blankets, 50 kg of rice and one packet dry food from district
administration.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Panchagarh Sabina Yeasmin, upazila chairman of
Debiganj Md Abdul Malek Chistee, UNO Nilufa Yeasmin, upazila Awami League
President ASM Nuruzzaman and others Awami League leaders and workers were
present.
