ELECTROCUTION-NILPHAMARI
Husband, wife electrocuted in Nilphamari
NILPHAMARI, Aug 7, 2019 (BSS) – A man and his wife died after being
electrocuted at Dhonipara village in Dimla upazila of the district this noon.
The deceased were identified as Dilip Islam, 45, and his wife Achia Begum,
40, hailed from the village.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Dimla Thana Md Mofizuddin Sheikh said Dilip came
to contact with a live electric wire first when he was setting a switch of
the ceiling fan at his house.
Later, his wife Achia was electrocuted while she was trying to save Dilip.
Their 12-year old daughter found their bodies after returning home from
her school this noon.
