FENI, May 13, 2018 (BSS) – Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammed Nasim today said the next general election would be held under Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as per the constitution.
“There is no doubt that the election will be held under Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina,” he said.
Nasim, also the spokesperson of 14-party alliance, came up with the observations at a views exchange meeting at Feni circuit house.
Presided over by district Awami League president Abdur Rahman B.Com, the meeting was also attended by Jahanara Begum Surma, MP, Shirin Akhter, MP, and former minister Dilip Barua, among others.
Nasim at the meeting, urged leaders and activists of 14-party alliance to remain united and work to further strengthen the alliance.
The health minister later laid the foundation stone of Fulgazi Upazila Health Complex, which is being turned into a 50-bed hospital from a 31-bed one. He also addressed a rally at Notun Munshir Hat School playground organised by Fulgazi upazila unit of Awami league.
