DHAKA, May 12, 2018 (BSS)- Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at many places across the country in next 24 hours till 9 am tomorrow.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, Sylhet and Dhaka divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Rangpur and Mymensingh divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls and hails at isolated places over the country,” said a met bulletin issued this morning here.
Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country, it added.
Seasonal low lies over South Bay while Trough of westerly low lies over West Bengal and adjoining areas.
The maximum temperature was recorded 36.2 degrees Celsius yesterday at Khulna division and today’s minimum temperature 19.5 degrees Celsius at Sylhet.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours as of 6 am today was recorded 69 mm at Sandwip in Chattogram division.
