DHAKA, May 11, 2018 (BSS) – President M Abdul Hamid today condoled the death of AKM Maidul Islam, MP, of Kurigram-3 constituency.
In a condolence message, the President expressed profound shock at the death of Maidul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Abdul Hamid also prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
Maidul, also a former minister, was elected as a member of parliament in 2014 from Jatiya Party (JP) ticket.
He died at United Hospital in the capital on Thursday night at the age of 78.
