RANGPUR, May 11, 2018 (BSS) – The female students of the Department of Marketing of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) became the champions in the Shakhawat Hossain Pramila Football Tournament-2017.
“In the final match held on ground no-1 on the campus Thursday afternoon, the Department of Marketing defeated the Department of Chemistry by a solitary goal (1-0) to clinch the title of the tournament,” a press release said today.
Vice-Chancellor of BRUR Professor Dr Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah distributed prizes to the winner and runner up teams in the closing ceremony.
Zila Parisahd Chairman Advocate Chhafia Khanom attended the ceremony as invited guest with Convener of the Organising Committee of the Shakhawat Hossain Pramila Football Tournament-2017 Professor Sarifa Salowa Dina in the chair.
Deans Professor Dr Parimal Chandra Barman of the Faculty of Arts, Professor Dr Abu Kalam Md Farid Ul Islam of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology and Md Ferdous Rahman of the Faculty of Business Studies, Professor Dr RM Hafizur Rahman, Professor Dr Md Gazi Mazharul Anwar, among others, were present.
