DHAKA, July 31, 2019 (BSS) – Awami League (AL) submitted its financial statement on annual income and expenditure to the Election Commission (EC) today.
A delegation led by AL Election Steering Committee Co-Chairman HT Imam handed over the party’s financial statement to the EC Secretary Md Alamgir at its secretariat.
Later, at the EC Media Center, HT Imam said AL earned Taka 24, 23, 42,707 and spent TK 18, 87, 80,557 during financial year 2018-19.
Currently Tk 37, 57, 78,587 have remained as surplus with the AL treasury, he added.
The Jatiya Party also submitted its financial statement to the Election Commission on Tuesday.
A delegation led by Jatiya Party Presidium member Rezaul Islam Bhuiyan submitted their financial statement to EC.
According to the statement, Jatiya Party’s income and expenditure were Tk 1, 97, 36,000 and Tk 1, 20, 26,000 respectively for the fiscal year 2018-19, said Rezaul.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) submitted its statement on annual income and expenditure to the EC on Tuesday.
BNP joint secretary general Moazzem Hossain Alal said BNP’s earning was Tk 9.46 crore while it spent Tk 3, 73, 29,143 during 2018-19.
