Bangabandhu pulls out Bangladesh from debris: HT Imam
DHAKA, July 31, 2019 (BSS) – Prime Minister’s Political Advisor HT Imam today said that Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman had pulled out Bangladesh from the debris of a war-ravaged country after the War of Independence in 1971.
“Bangladesh and Bangabandhu are inseparable. Bangabandhu dreamt of an independent Bangladesh and worked hard for its independence,” said Imam.
He made these remarks while addressing a cover-unveiling ceremony of a book titled “Bangabandhu Corner: Nondito Udvabon” at Abdul Karim Sahitya Bisharad Auditorium at Bangla Academy here.
Ekushey Padak winner writer and novelist Ashim Saha, Chairman at Agrani Bank Ltd Zaid Bakht and Chief Executive Officer & Director at Agrani Bank Ltd Mohammad Shams-Ul Islam, among others, were present.
Mohammad Shams-Ul Islam, who has authored the book, said “The idea of establishing ‘Bangabandhu corner’ at the Agrani bank is intended to spread Bangabandhu’s ideology across the country.”
