DENGUE-HOSPITALISED
15,369 dengue patients admitted to hospitals this year
DHAKA, July 30, 2019 (BSS) – A total of 15,369 dengue patients have been
admitted to different hospitals across the country this year, according to
Public Health Emergency Operation Centre and Control Room.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1,335 dengue patients were admitted to
different hospitals.
Of them, 221 patients were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, 105
to Mitford Hospital, 48 to Dhaka Shishu Hospital, 61 to Shaheed Suhrawardy
Medical College Hospital, 42 to Holy Family Red Crescent Hospital, 17 to
BIRDEM Hospital, two to BGB Hospital in Pilkhana and 90 to Kurmitola General
Hospital.
Besides, other 265 patients were admitted to different clinics and public
hospitals in the last 24 hours, said the statement.
Moreover, 104 were hospitalized in Dhaka Division (except the city), 55 in
Chittagong, 56 in Khulna, 20 in Rangpur, 56 in Rajshahi, six in Barisal, 55
in Sylhet and nine in Mymensingh.
