BANDARBAN, July 22, 2019 (BSS) – Miscreants gunned down Awami League leader Mong Mong Thowi Marma at Roangchhari of the district here today.
Officer in Charge of Roangchhari thana Shariful Islam said the miscreants intercepted motorbike of Mong Mong Thowi when he was going to Sapmara Jiri area at about 2 pm. today.
The miscreants shot him dead on the spot and fled the scene.
Police later recovered the body and sent it to Bandarband Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
Police could not be confirmed about the killers and motive of the killing.
