DHAKA, May 6, 2018 (BSS) – The results of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations-2018 under 10 education boards were published today with 77.77 percent pass.
According to the Education Ministry, 1,10,629 students got the highest Grade Point Average (GPA-5) in the examinations.
This year, a total of 20,31,889 students, including 10,23,212 boys and 10,08,687 girls, appeared in the examinations.
In 2017, a total of 17,86,613 students – 9,10,501 boys and 8,76,112 girls – took part in the examinations.
The Education Ministry sources said 16,27,378 students appeared in the SSC examination under the eight general education boards this year while 2,89,752 in Dakhil examination under Madrasah Education Board and 1,14,769 in vocational examination under Bangladesh Technical Education Board.
