RAJSHAHI, July 20, 2019 (BSS) – Speakers at a meeting here today called for ensuring quality education in all institutions to transform the students into worthy citizens.
“Only quality education can create skilled human resources and build up competent workforce for self employment or employers,” they said.
Speakers said this at a meeting jointly organized by Department of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) and Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Rajshahi on the challenges of quality education.
DSHE Director General Prof. Syed Golam Faruque was present as chief guest in the meeting held at Shaheed AHM Kamaruzzaman Zila Parishad Auditorium. Chairman of Rajshahi Education Board Prof Mokbul Hossain was in the chair.
Principal of Rajshahi College Prof Habibur Rahman, DSHE Divisional Director Prof Kamal Hossain and its Deputy Directors Prof Nasir Uddin and Dr Shormin Ferdous Chowdhury also spoke.
Prof Syed Golam Faruque urged the teachers to come forward to make the institution level teaching-learning process more effective.
Pointing out the steps taken by the present government for improvement of quality education he said collective efforts of teachers are need for its success.
