NETRAKONA, July 19, 2019 (BSS) – State Minister for Fisheries and Livestock Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru today visited different flood-hit areas of Barhatta upazila under the district.
He talked to the flood-hit people, inquired about their condition and assured them of providing all necessary help to mitigate their sufferings.
During his visit, the state minister distributed relief materials and life saving medicines among the flood-affected people.
Officers of the upazila administration and local leaders of Awami League and Red Crescent Society, among others, were present on the occasion.
Khasru said the present government would do everything possible for the flood victims to help them recuperate their losses caused by the calamity.
