Imran, Fazilatunnesa pay tribute to Bangabandhu
DHAKA, July 15, 2019 (BSS)- Newly sworn-in Minister for Expatriate Welfare
and Overseas Employment Imran Ahmed and State Minister for Women and Children
Affairs Fazilatunnesa Indira today paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
They placed wreaths at his portrait in front of Bangabandhu Memorial at
Dhanmondi-32 in the capital and stood in solemn silence for sometime as a
mark of profound respect to him.
Other senior Awami League leaders were also present on the occasion.
Earlier, on Saturday, President Abdul Hamid separately administered the
oath taking ceremony of Imran and Fazilatunnesa in presence of Prime Minister
Sheikh Hasina at Bangabhaban.
