DENGUE-SITUATION
3 die in dengue, 908 hospitalized
DHAKA, July 14, 2019 (BSS) – Dengue fever caused death to 3 people in the country and 908 dengue patients are now being treated at different hospitals.
In the last seven months since January, a total of 3,998 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals and among them 3,087 patients have been released from the hospitals during the period, according to a health ministry release here today.
While a total of 152 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals in the last twenty-four hours—72 were admitted to government hospitals and 80 to private hospitals.
About prevention of the disease, the release said, the government has imparted training to over 1800 physicians and nurses on Dengue and Chikungunya.
