HABIGANJ, July 11, 2019 (BSS) – A pedestrian was killed as a bus crushed him on Dhaka-Sylhet Highway at Shahpur in Madhobpur upazila of the district this afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Firoj Mia, 65, hailed from Alinagar village in the upazila.
Eye witnesses said the accident occurred on Dhaka-Sylhet Highway at Shahpur when he was crossing the highway, leaving Firoj Mia dead on the spot.
The body was sent to Habiganj Sadar Hospital. Shaistaganj Highway police seized the bus.
A case was filed in this regard.
