DHAKA, July 11, 2019 (BSS) – The final round of JFA Cup U-14 National Women’s Football Championship begins tomorrow (Friday) at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city’s Kamalapur with two matches billed for the opening day.
In the day’s first Group A match, Tangail district will take on Thakurgaon district at 2 pm while Rajshahi district meet Magura district in the day’s other fixture at 4 pm.
The champion teams of six venues and two best runners-up teams, split into two groups, are competing in the eight-team final round.
In this regards, a press conference was held on Thursday at conference room of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Bhaban to provide all the details of the meet.
BFF executive member and women’s wing committee’s chairman Mahfuza Akter Kiron, BFF general secretary Abu Nayeem Sohag and Walton Group executive director FM Iqbal Bin Anwar were present on the occasion.
Grouping: Group A – Tangail, Rajshahi, Magura and Thakurgaon districts. Group B – Rangamati, Rangpur, Manikganj and Mymensingh districts.
