DHAKA, July 11, 2019 (BSS) – Bangladesh A cricketers will take on visiting Afghanistan A team in the second and final four-day match in a bid to draw the two-match series at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium (ZACS) in Chittagong on Friday.
The second string Bangladesh team suffered a shocking seven-wicket defeat to Afghanistan after failing to deal with the leg-spin of Qais Ahmed who ended the match with 10-for.
For Bangladesh A, Anamul Haque Bijoy scored a century in the first innings of that match but lack of contribution from others sank the side.
Bangladesh A will also play a five-match one-day series against the same side after the completion of the four-day match.
The first three one-day match is on July 21, 23 and 24 at the ZACS in Chittagong
The fourth and fifth one-day will be held in BKSP on July 27 and 29. The Afghans will depart the country on July 30.
