Circular to be issued for listening children’s complaints: Tajul
DHAKA, July 10, 2019 (BSS) – LGRD and Cooperatives Minister Tajul Islam
today said a circular will be issued instructing all the local government
organizations, including Union Parishad and Upazila Parishad, for listening
to children’s complaints.
“A circular will be issued instructing the local government
organizations for listening to the children’s complaints and statements,” he
said while addressing a roundtable discussion on “Child-friendly Local
Government: Present Conditions and What to Do” at a hotel in the capital.
The minister also instructed the local public representatives for taking
training on how to deal with children related matters.
Dainik Samakal acting editor Mustafiz Shafi conducted the round table
discussion.
Director of National Local Government Institute and representatives of
the World Vision along with various child organizations were present on the
occasion.
