DHAKA, July, 20, 2017 (BSS)- The 3rd Walton Beach Bodybuilding Competition will begin on Sunday (July 23) at Laboni points sea beach in Cox’s Bazar.
Near about hundred participants from 35 clubs and associations are expected to take part in the six weight categories of the three-day meet, sponsored by Walton and organised by Bangladesh Bodybuilding Federation.
The six weight categories are 60, 65, 70, 75, 80 and 80 plus kgs. The first place finisher of each category will get Taka 5,000 as cash prize and medal while the second and third place finishers will have Taka 3,000 and Taka 2000 and medals respectively.
In this regards, a press conference was held on Thursday conference room of Bangabandhu National Stadium to provide all the details of the meet.
Walton group senior additional director Niamul Haqque Walton Group operative director head of games and sports FM Iqbal Bin Anwar, Bangladesh Weightlifting Federation general secretary and former Mr Bangladesh Nazrul Islam, were among others, present on the occasion.
