DHAKA, June 28, 2019 (BSS) – Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today expressed
deep shock and sorrow at the death of New York City Awami League President
and valiant freedom fighter Noornabi.
In a condolence message, the prime minister with profound respect recalled
the outstanding contributions of the freedom fighter commander Noornabi to
the Liberation War.
Sheikh Hasina also remembered his role in various democratic movements at
home and abroad.
The prime minister also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and
conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
Commander Noornabi died at a city hospital early this morning.
