DHAKA, April 23, 2018 (BSS) – Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at a few places over the country in 24-hour ending at 9am tomorrow.
“Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at a few places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions with hails at isolated places over the country,” said a met bulletin here this morning.
Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country, the met bulletin added.
Seasonal low lies over South Bay while trough of westerly low lies over West Bengal and adjoining area.
Highest temperature was recorded 35.6 degree Celsius at Jessore in Khulna division while today’s minimum temperature is 21.5 degree Celsius at Nikli in Dhaka division.
The sun sets today at 6:23 pm and will rise at 5:30 am tomorrow in the capital.
