DHAKA, June 22, 2019 (BSS) – Bangladesh Meteorological Department today
predicted that light to moderate rain is likely to occur at many places in
the country in the next 24 hours as of 9 am tomorrow.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty
wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka,
Mymensingh, Khulna and Barishal divisions and at a few places over Chattogram
and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country,”
said a met office bulletin released here today.
However, the day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country,
it added.
The highest temperature on Friday was recorded 36.0 degrees Celsius at
Rajshahi and today’s minimum temperature was 25.0 degrees Celsius at
Rangamati in Chattogram division and Tetulia in Rangpur division.
The sun sets at 6.49 pm today and rises at 5.12 am tomorrow in the
capital.
