Tipu urges public servants to work with innovative mindset
DHAKA, June 20, 2019 (BSS) – Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi today asked the public servants to work with innovative mentality for the development of the country.
“There is no alternative to innovation for development and that is why all of you (public servants) have to work moving out of traditional thinking,” he said while addressing the Innovation Showcasing Fair-2019 at National Museum.
Tipu Munshi said economic freedom has to be achieved by boosting export and trade. “We have to work together to attain the $ 60 billion export goal by 2021.”
Referring to the relentless effort of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for the development of the country as well as up-gradation of the standard of living, the commerce minister said “We have to be the ally of her (Sheikh Hasina) works.”
Chaired by commerce secretary Md Mofizul Islam, the function was also addressed by additional secretary and chief innovation officer of the ministry Dr Md Shah Alam.
