Nominations for National Fish Award-2019 finalised
DHAKA, June 19, 2019 (BSS) – National Fish Award Finalization Committee today finalized the name of the candidates of “National Fish Award-2019” in a meeting at the secretariat.
Prime Minister Sheik Hasina is scheduled to give award to the winners in the upcoming National Fisheries’ Week in July, said a ministry release.
The meeting decided to give award in seven categories out of 9 among the nominated personalities and institutions. The winners will get 8 gold medals and 9 silver medals. No application was submitted in two categories out of the nine categories.
The list of nominated persons and institutions will be announced before the launching of the National Fisheries’ Week.
