CHATTOGRAM, June 19, 2019 (BSS) – A man was electrocuted while charging the
battery of his battery-run rickshaw in Baluchara area of Biyazid Bostami
thana in the city this morning.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Shahed, 30, son of Kabir Ahmed and
also a rickshaw puller of Baluchara area.
Police outpost sources at Chattogram Medical College and Hospital (CMCH)
said Shahed was electrocuted in a garage while charging the battery of his
battery-run rickshaw around 5 am.
He was rushed to CMCH where the attending doctors declared him dead.
