Govt considers launching one-stop service for tourism entrepreneurs, Mahbub tells JS

SANGSAD BHABAN, June 17, 2019 (BSS) – Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Md Mahbub Ali today told the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) that the government is actively considering of introducing a one-stop service for the tourism entrepreneurs to stop administrative harassments in this regard.

The minister was replying a starred question made by treasury bench lawmaker AKM Rahmatullah in the House here.

Mahbub informed that the government has taken initiative to build international standard tourism spots in Cox’s Bazar, Sylhet, Khulna and Bagerhat under Public Private Partnership (PPP) project to boost the tourism sector and attract local and international tourists and investors in the sector.

Besides, the government is implementing different programmes, including bringing the international tour operators in Bangladesh, exchanging views with local tour operators and increasing campaign in different countries about Bangladesh’s tourism spots, to develop the country’s tourism sector, he said.
