Chinese delegation visits Bangabandhu Memorial Museum
DHAKA, June 16, 2019 (BSS) – A 16-member Chinese delegation visited Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi in the capital today.
Ji Bingxuan, vice-chairman of the 13th National People’s Congress of China (NPC) Standing Committee and president of the Chinese Association for International Understanding, led the delegation, a press release said.
During the visit, the delegation recalled the contributions and sacrifice of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to the Bangladesh’s independence.
Saima Wazed, daughter of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, was present on the occasion.
She apprised the delegation of different aspects of the life and struggle of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
