New budget won’t trigger price hike: Kamal
SANGSAD BHABAN, June 13, 2019 (BSS)-Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal today said the proposed budget for the fiscal year 2019-2020 does not have any component, which may trigger a price spiral of essential commodities.
“This budget will not spark price spiral as there is no such component . . . the budget has been prepared to fulfill the demands of people of all strata of life,” said the minister while placing the national budget in the Jatiya Sangsad for fiscal year 2019-20.
“We got a dream of establishing Sonar Bangla from the Father of the Nation who invigorated the nation to rebuild the war-ravaged economy and began the arduous journey with an amazing vision.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina following the footsteps left behind by the Father of the Nation is taking us to the newer heights of achievements,” he said.
