SANGSAD BHABAN, June 13, 2019 (BSS) – The government has allocated Taka 3,528 crore for the Prime Ministry Office (PMO) in the proposed budget for the fiscal (FY) 2019-2020.
The proposed allocation for the PMO is Taka 711 crore higher in comparison to the revised budget for the FY 2018-2019.
Of the total allocation for the PMO, Taka 564 crore has been proposed for operating sector and 2,964 crore for development one.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina made a history with unfolding the budget in the parliament on behalf of Finance Minister AHM Mustofa Kamal as he felt sick at one stage of pacing the proposed budget of 2019-20 FY in the parliament.
