DHAKA, April 9, 2018 (BSS) – Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places with hails at isolated places over the country in 24 hours as of 9 am tomorrow.
“Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with hails at isolated places over the country in 24 hours commencing from 9 am today,” said a met office release here.
Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the release added.
The maximum temperature was recorded 35.5 degrees celsius yesterday at Cox’s Bazar in Chattogram division and today’s minimum temperature 19.8 degrees celsius at Srimangal and Tetulia in Sylhet and Rangpur divisions.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours as 6 am today was recorded 50 mm at Rangamati in Chattogram division.
The sunsets at 6.18 pm today and rises at 5.42 am tomorrow in the capital city.
