Shahjahan visits plane crash victims at Singapore hospital

DHAKA, April 6, 2018 (BSS) – Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister AKM Shahjahan Khan Kamal has visited injured passengers of the US-Bangla plane crash at Singapore General Hospital.

The minister visited three injured passengers on Thursday night and spent some times beside their beds, according to a message received here today.

Three among nine crash Bangladesh survivors – Dr Rezanull Haque Shawon, Imrana Kabir Hasi and Kabir Hossain – are currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Shahjahan inquired about treatment of the injured passengers with the physicians and victims’ relatives.

The minister thanked US-Bangla Airlines for taking all responsibilities for treatment of the victims.

Twenty-Seven Bangladeshi passengers were killed at the plane crash in Trivuban International Airport in Kathmandu on March 12, leaving at least 50 people dead among 71 passengers, including 22 Nepalese and one Chinese nationals.
