THAKURGAON, May 26, 2019 (BSS) – Railways Minister Md Nurul Islam Sujon today said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has kept her promise as she inaugurated a direct Dhaka-Panchagarh-Dhaka intercity train service “Panchagarh Express”.
“Our premier announced before the national polls that she would give a direct intercity train for the people of this district… today, she inaugurated such kind of train service Panchagarh Express as per her promise,” he said.
The minister was addressing a discussion, organized by district unit of Swechchhasebak League, as the chief guest at Road Rail Station of the district.
Deputy Commissioner Dr KM Kamruzzaman Selim, Superintendent of Police Moniruzzaman Monir, District Awami League General Secretary Mohammad Sadeq Quraishi, AL Organizing Secretary Advocate Mostaq Alam Tulu and Publicity Secretary Mostafizur, among others, were present on the occasion.
