DHAKA, April 2, 2018 (BSS) – Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today predicted rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind at one or two places over Khulna division in 24 hours ending at 9 am tomorrow.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, a BMD press release said today.
Seasonal low lies over South Bay, it said, adding that trough of westerly low lies over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and adjoining area.
Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.
The maximum temperature was recorded 36 degrees Celsius yesterday at Sitakunda and Rangamati in Chittagong divisions and today’s minimum temperature 18 .8 degrees Celsius at Nikli and Badalgachhi in Dhaka and Rajshahi divisions respectively.
The sunsets at 6:14 pm today and rises at 5.49 am tomorrow in the capital city.
