RMG factory fire injures 3 in city
DHAKA, March 31, 2018 (BSS)-A fire broke out at a readymade garment factory
in the city’s Kafrul area early today leaving three people injured.
Hospital sources said the injured were admitted to Dhaka Medical College
and Hospital (DMCH).
Fire Service Control Civil Defence Room Duty Officer Kamrul Hasan said the
fire erupted on the ground floor of the six-storey factory building ‘Sadik
Embroidery’ at 3:17am today.
Being informed, two firefighting units from Mirpur and Kurmitola rushed to
the spot. The fire came under control at 4:35am. The reason behind the fire
could not be known immediately.
The extent of damage is yet to be ascertained, the duty officer said.
