Two held with 4,805 Yaba tablets in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, March 31, 2018 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion
(RAB)-5 arrested two alleged drug peddlers with 4,805 Yaba tablets from
Gobinpur Babubazar area under Shibganj upazila in the district on Friday
afternoon.
The arrested were identified as Abdur Razzaq, 37, son of Matiur Rahman and
Rashid Ali, 31, son of Abdul Quddus of the aforesaid area.
RAB said acting on secret information, an operation team of RAB-5 from
Chapainawabganj camp raided Abdur Razzaq’s house in the area around 3:30 pm
and arrested the duo with the Yaba tablets.
Later, the arrested persons were handed over to the police of Shibganj
Thana with a case.
