ARREST-DRUG PEDDLER
One held with heroin in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, May 12, 2019 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged drug peddler with 306 grams of heroin from a mango orchard at Barorasia Kharitala village under Chapainawabganj sadar upazila this afternoon.
The arrested person was identified as Md. Shihab Ali, 23, son of late Sekandar Ali of Kotapara in Chapainawabganj district.
RAB said, acting on a secret information, an operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp raided the area and arrested Shihab with the heroin worth about Tk. 30 lakh.
Later the arrested person was handed over to the police with a case.
