SYLHET, May 30, 2017 (BSS) – A man was killed and 10 others injured in a road accident in Lala Bazar area under South Surma upazila of the district this morning.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately, police said.
The accident took place around 8am in the area as a Dhaka-bound bus collided head-on with a Sylhet-bound fish laden truck, leaving one man dead on the spot and 10 others injured, said Additional Commissioner of Sylhet Metropolitan Police (SMP) Zidan-Al-Musa.
The injured were admitted to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital, he added.
