AL beat journalists hold get together
DHAKA, May 4, 2019 (BSS) – Journalists covering the news of the Awami League (AL) and the Prime Minister today held a get together at a hotel in the city.
AL acting General Secretary Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif, AL Joint General Secretaries Dr Dipu Moni and Advocate Jahangir Kabir Nanak, Organizing Secretaries AFM Bahauddin Nasim, AKM Enamul Haque Shamim and Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Noufel, Liberation War Affairs Secretary Advocate Mrinal Kanti Das, Relief and Social Welfare Secretary Sujit Roy Nandi, Deputy Publicity Secretary Aminul Islam Amin and Deputy Office Secretary Barrister Biplab Barua, among others, joined the function.
PM’s Deputy Press Secretary (DPS) Md Ashraful Alam Khokan conducted the programme while PM’s Protocol Officer SM Khurshid-Ul-Alam, DPS Hasan Jahid Tusher and Assistant Press Secretary MM Emrul Kayas attended it.
Among the journalists’ leaders, Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists’ (BFUJ) Secretary General Shaban Mahmood, Jatiya Press Club Senior Joint Secretary Shahed Chowdhury, Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ) General Secretary (GS) Sohel Haider Chowdhury, Dhaka Reporters’ Unity (DRU) former GS Syed Shukur Ali Shuvo, DRU incumbent GS Kabir Ahmed Khan and senior journalist Uttam Chakrabarty, among others, attended it.
Speaking on the occasion, Al leaders said the party always stays beside journalists in their well and woes and sought cooperation from them to stay beside the AL-government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to take ahead the country.
