Govt working for well-being of people: Biplob Barua
CHATTOGRAM, May 1, 2019 (BSS)- Prime Minister’s special assistant and Deputy Office Secretary of Awami League Barrister Biplob Barua today said the present government under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working for the well-being of the people.
Both print and electronic media in the country are enjoying press freedom, he made the comments while exchanging views with journalists at Chattogram Seniors Club.
Among others, PM’s Deputy Press secretary Ashraful Alam Khokan, President of Chattogram Union of Journalist Nazimuddin Shamol, vice President of BFUJ Reaz Haider Chowdhury, General secretary of Chattogram Press club Chowdhury Farid and President of Seniors Club Dr. Selim Akhter Chowdhury were present on the occasion.
Biplob Barua said “Chattogram is my home city…. huge infrastructural development of the port city has been made in the past 10 years.”
He also said the present government has taken maga development projects, which would eventually contribute to the national economy.
Biplob Barua called upon the journalists to project development activities during the past 10 years through their writings aiming to inspire the people to ensure their better contribution to different sectors of development.
