People to enjoy quality programmes on BTV soon, Hasan tells JS
SANGSAD BHABAN, April 24, 2019 (BSS) – Information Minister Mohammad Hasan Mahmud today said people will enjoy quality programmes on the Bangladesh Television (BTV) soon.
“We have taken some initiatives to make the BTV programmes attractive to the people and the people will enjoy it soon,” said the minister while responding to a supplementary question placed by treasury bench lawmaker Shafiqul Islam Shimul of Natore-2 in the Jatiya Sangsad here.
He said, “Not only time, the quality of the programmes of BTV will have to be raised.” The government is discouraging the arrange-based programmes in the BTV, adding that the programmes will be historical, cultural and heritage based.
