Govt to extend all possible support to flourish young talents: Mannan

DHAKA, April 22, 2019 (BSS) – Planning Minister MA Mannan today said that the government would extend all possible support to flourish the fresh and young talents to contribute to the economy and nation building.

“We will extend whatever support possible to flourish the fresh and young talents so that they can work and contribute to the nation building,” he said.

The minister said that while speaking at the closing ceremony of the BPO Summit 2019 held at a city hotel this evening.

Chaired by Post and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar, the Programme was addressed by State Minister for ICT Division Junaid Ahmed Palak and its Secretary MN Ziaul Alam.

The Planning Minister said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is inspiring the nation so that the state could be built as suitable for the 21st century in all fields.

“Sheikh Hasina is very much committed in this regard. She is committed in science and technology as she is moving ahead the country in a positive manner,” she added.

Noting that change is taking place in all fields including in science and technology all over the world, Mannan said Bangladesh also wants to be a part of that change and for that the government is working relentlessly.

He also expressed his high optimism that all irrespective of their political ideology and faith would work together to build the country.

Earlier on Sunday, Prime Minister’s ICT Adviser Sajeeb Wazed Joy inaugurated the fourth edition of the summit at Sonargaon Hotel here.

This year’s theme of the summit was ‘Transforming Service to Digital’.

Renowned 40 local and 20 international speakers attended the summit to share their learning and experience of BPO industries. A total of 12 seminars and workshops took place during the two-day summit.

Youth-based seminars and events were also held to ensure growth and development of the country’s youth segment to strengthen the vision of Digital Bangladesh.
